A really good overview from one of the experts who walks the talk.
Essentially a video of the introductory session of his course.
Encompasses pretty much what I have learnt so far plus some useful stuff like:
- carb & protein per food tables
- recipes and cooking tips
Normal blood sugar concentration is 100mg/dl.
Typical person has 5 litres of blood.
100mg x 10 x 5 = 5g or about 1 teaspoon in all of your blood.
A can of coke contains about 40g of sugar or 8 times the total amount of sugar in your blood.
